Delegates and Registrants

When you register for one of our events or sign up to any of our services we may collect the following information:

  • name and job title
  • company name and logo
  • contact information including email address
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

  • Record keeping of delegates at events
  • Registration of delegates at events
  • We may periodically send you emails about information regarding the event that you registered for and dates of upcoming similar events.

At the event or conference, we have the rights of commercial use over any photos, audio and audiovisual content which is taken at the event either by the event organisers or by delegates.

By registering and attending the event, delegates themselves accept that they may appear in any photos and video content taken at the event.

Speakers and Panellists

When you accept a speaking opportunity or appearing as a panellist at one of our events we may collect the following information:

  • name and job title
  • company name and logo
  • contact information including email address
  • corporate photo of speaker or panellist
  • presentation relating to the topic that you will speak on

By submitting this information, you consent to our collection of any information that you provide. Your name, job title, company name and logo can be published on:

  • the event website
  • the printed programme and agenda for the event
  • the event advertisement on Eventbrite.com
  • the event social media feed which includes Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • mail shots and communications leading up to the event
  • any event advertisement in media including online, radio, television and any print media

You consent to the publishing of photos, audio and audio-visual content taken at the event by the event organisers or by delegates. This content may also include any part of the slides and presentation which you may have used during your presentation, speech or panel discussion.

Sponsors

When you enter into a sponsorship agreement with us for one of our events, we have the right to collect the following information:

  • sponsor name and company logo
  • name and job title of all sponsor representatives that will attend the event
  • contact information regarding email address

By submitting this information, you consent to our collection of any information that you provide. The sponsor company name and logo will be published on:

  • the event website
  • the printed programme and agenda for the event
  • the event advertisement on Eventbrite.com
  • the event social media feed which includes Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • mail shots and communications leading up to the event
  • any event advertisement in media including online, radio, television and any print media

You also consent to the publishing of photos, audio and audio-visual, of sponsor company logos and representative delegates, taken at the event by the event organisers or by delegates.

Event Desk cannot be held responsible for breaches or unauthorised use of any collected data under any circumstances.
